Joke of the Year *
Here you have a web design firm advertising in a metropolitan
newspaper that reaches both L.A. and L.V.
referring to their expertise and promotional pricing
for restaurant menus (and restaurant marketing.)
As someone in advertising and key to their website success,
don't you think you should check your dot-com URL address,
insure it is correctly typed? No/Yes?
And, if you think you would like a different dot-com name,
own it/must exist... No/Yes?

That was not the best part of the humor (or expertise!)
I figured out what they did wrong through a simple line of logical deduction and
found their website. Yeah .. the flashy (pizzaz) of the homepage
building cubicals was really cool .. if you have cable connection ...
But, every possible button, text anchor except for the "replay" option
were dead. Plain'n simple .. nothing worked and these people are a
website design (and publishing) firm ? Come on, now ...
* It depends on your sense of humor, of course.
I always find grammatical and misspelling errors in publishing humorous, but
when it comes to internet jargon and specifically how to find you on the web,
well, bless my soul -- it's outrageously funny !
Sorry, I refuse to give them free publicity here, but I do have it on file to handle
objections to a specific ethnic community in L.V.
p.s. Someone once asked me if I wish I was ShopLasVegas dot-com and my response
was an (emphatic): "No." p.p.s. Hint:
that was the ad copy'er error. Their website was (properly) hyphenated.
