Shop Las Vegas is a small business. We were both fortunate enough to register
and smart enough to select the business name "Shop Las Vegas" in Las Vegas !
We spend a substantial amount of money marketing the brand name, ie, "Shop Las Vegas."
In order to keep our cost down to our advertising clients, we ask for your support
to identify those people that may be illegally using our business name whether in an
out and out abuse or attempting to make an association with our company.
For example, a website that blatantly states : Shop Las Vegas.
We may order them to cease such practice in violation of our registration.

Fast Response - it never ceases to amaze me,
the ability of emailing people around the world and responses to websites such as adding
links all over to this page.
Yes - my colleague that pointed out to me that you, as a registrar with your respective
County Clerk, have the right to the Business Name, but not the use of the
® symbol without filing with the State (Of Nevada.) That is very true.
And, btw/fwiw, you can use the trademark ™ symbol, in such cases.
I looked back in my files to find the two legal documents, to the
left, that represent the (Nevada) State Filing step that went along with the Sales Tax
Permit, above.

Sorry, for the over-sight. My heart was in the right place, and I know - because
I walked the papers thru that (fateful) October 29th ... Paid my sales tax reserve,
and ran over to the County Clerk with proof of filings with the State to have everything
finalized.

The Honorable Mayor Oscar Goodman
"A Drive for Literacy with Oscar"
Another item, associated with my new business venture as "Shop Las Vegas"
is a letter from our Mayor Oscar Goodman. It is addressed to me, when
I obtained by City License, above. A nice "p/r touch" - we all know the
Honorable Oscar Goodman for !
Next to this letter, was the opportunity to meet and shake his hand (purely
by accident) one day visiting the City Hall to pick up new business license data
and the Mayor was coming back with some associates looking like he had been
involved in some sort of award ceremony. I "jumped" on the elevator,
not noticing him at first and instead of trying to turn my 260 lbs. body
around faced him face-to-face.
His body language and smile, scanning my polo-shirt with "Shop-Las-Vegas.com"
embroidered, I took the moment to say hello to the Mayor and he (automatically)
gave me his hand to shake ... Thanks Mayor ...
