There were many interesting qualities in this website as well as
several items that I fault many web publishers being equally at fault with.
The first, and most common, is allocating a margin column generally
on the left side for the purpose of paging or cross-link navagation.
In the case of Ricardo's, it is on the right. A little unusual, but
as you will see, matches the underlying wallpaper theme and could very well
have been chosen, the design, for that fact, ie, different.
In an attempt to play "devil's advocate," I will proceed with two versions :
(1) Using the same type of wallpaper, although modified to give the main body
area more width and therefore, decrease the width of the right, navigation column,
and (2) Removal of the right navigation column with a different horizontal
arrangement which will provide maximum width to the main body.
In an effort to be brief and to the point and emphasize the cosmetic differences,
Shop LV reserves the right to abbreviate the secondary, or cross-linked pages, eg,
Menu Page, Groups Page and Weddings Page. Ricardo's of Las Vegas has not
solicited nor is affiliated with Shop Las Vegas and therefore, Shop LV is under
no obligation to be thorough.
Furthermore, in order to retain the integrity of this lesson of instruction,
Shop LV has made a duplicate copy of the various "before" pages which would
be subject to change by the actual website without notice to Shop LV and
make the validity of the lesson not very good. Some of the technical
hyper-link features, for instance, are not presence either.
Suggestion No. 1 : please go thru these illustrations in 800 x 600 resolution
and then try a high resolution of 1024 x 768, etc. to expose some of the Shop LV
enhancements even further. Thank you.

Suggestion No. 2 : If you have control over your web editor during a publishing session,
it is highly recommended to incorporate the "BaseFont" html command, as illustrated below.
This is a series of font options, depending on the individual set up of each viewer browser and/or
operating system set up.
<BASEFONT FACE="Book Antiqua,Garamond,Arial,Verdana" SIZE=3>
As you can see, from the above html command, I have chosen to lead off with Book Antiqua font.
This font is a good font for book text; while Garamond is more oriented for sales
literature and then if neither of them are available on the viewer's system, Arial or Verdana
font. Now, there is no guarantee that any of these four fonts will be found on every
viewer or user that browses your website, but they are fairly standard unless the individual
has modified their computer system, ie, deleted the font(s).
For the sake of this lesson, though, we will stick to the basefonts the webmaster had
used which are :
<BASEFONT FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Sans-serif,sans-serif" SIZE=3>.
In the final "After/Vers 2" illustrations, though, I have taken liberties in this area.
If you are wondering why this is an issue. It is a bandwidth
issue, ie, performance of page down-loading.
